Periódicos Asociados Latinoamericanos

I was a key member of the initial team that formed the Latin American Associated Newspapers (PAL) in March 2008. During my tenure as the Managing Director from March 2008 to August 2012, I played a vital role in negotiating with the initial publishers and coordinating with presidents and directors in 11 countries across Spain and Latin America.

Some of my notable achievements during this period include:

  • Established and created the media association, bringing together fifteen publishing houses from ten different countries in Latin America.
  • Successfully transformed traditional companies into having the largest premium digital network in the Hispanic market, contributing to the digital transformation of 20+ publishing houses.
  • Represented the 20 most prestigious (digital) newspapers in Latin America and the US Hispanic market, managing an international market strategy and maintaining public relations with clients.

My responsibilities also involved creating an office and personal infrastructure since the inception of the association. Additionally, I worked towards expanding the organization’s content and products on a global scale, focusing on the USA and the Latin American region.

The primary objectives of PAL, the media association, were to promote technical and professional exchange among its members, facilitate content exchange, and support international marketing of their products. With the collective efforts of the association, we were able to achieve significant growth and establish PAL as a prominent entity in the Latin American media landscape.

Throughout my tenure, I was committed to driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the success and growth of the member organizations.
